Acrylic Painting: 60cmx 81cm
This original visionary work developed over two years in collaboration with Eddie’s close friend, Tulsea Moon. The concept originated on the shores of Lake Atitlán and unfolded through numerous live painting sessions and participation in local dance events around the lake. Throughout this time, the piece evolved into an exploration of color and dimension, revealing its form gradually through patience and dedication. A pivotal moment in the creative process occurred at the Eagle’s Nest Solstice Festival, where insights from renowned artist Luke Brown on color theory and sculpting techniques significantly influenced the work.
The painting portrays two phoenixes emerging from a central egg within a mandala, ascending toward the heavens with outstretched wings. This imagery embodies themes of rebirth and renewal, reflecting a personal and spiritual transformation experienced during the creation of the piece.
